How often should I replace my filter?
Replacing your furnace filter depends on your air quality and the type of filter you have. As a rule of thumb a 1” thick disposable pleated filter should be replaced at least every 3 months. A 4” to 5” inch thick disposable pleated filter should be vacuumed every 3 months and replaced every 6 months or 12 months depending on air quality.

How do I install my filter?
Before installing the filter, make sure the power is off to the system. Different filters have different styles of access. Once you determine the filter access simply remove the old filter and install the new one with the arrow pointing towards the furnace or air handler.

How often should I clean my Electronic Air Cleaner?
An Electronic Air Cleaner (EAC) should be cleaned regularly. The 4” to 5” thick electronic air cleaner cells need to be cleaned every 1 to 3 months depending on how quickly dust residue builds up on them. Even a thin layer will diminish the cells ability to remove particles from the air. Keeping the Electronic Air Cleaner cells clean is paramount for this filter to work correctly. The thin pre-filters need to be cleaned at least every 3 months.
